Marching Band Banquet January 27
The Marching Band Banquet is on January 27 at
the San Marino Club. Doors open at 6 pm, dinner
at 6:30.

Solo & Ensemble • January 28, 2012
Nearly 90 Solo & Ensemble performances will
feature Athens Band and Orchestra students on
January 28, 2012 at Rochester High School.
Performance times have been distributed by Mr.
McCoy and Mr. Benes. Download the original

Ad Sales for Upcoming Winter Percussion
and Guard Shows
Deadline Extended to Friday, January 27th!
The WGI Percussion Regional will be held February
11, 2012 and the MCGC Show will be held February
25, 2012. You can support both shows and make
money for your student account by selling ads for
the program. HALF of the ad sale amount goes
into your student account! It’s a GREAT way to
help offset your band expenses. You can use your
student account money for solo/ensemble fees,
band camp or any band-sponsored field trips. The
back cover is SOLD, but other premium spots are
still open. Please see the Ad Sale Form for more
information including ad sizes, pricing and how to
submit ads.

Troy Athens Saxophone Consortium
Saxophonists from Athens unite to work on all
things relevant to becoming better musicians.
This includes technique, style, setup, materials,
small ensembles, intonation, fingerings,
rehearsal/practice techniques and most
importantly having fun with our instruments! Mr.
Brouhard will lead the master class portion of each
session. Students will break up into small groups
afterwards.
The first session will be held Monday, January
30th from 2:45 pm - 4:15 pm in the Athens High
