Great Lakes Scrip

Click here to check out ideas for Stocking Stuffers!

The next GL Scrip order will be placed Wednesday, December 9, 2009 and scrips
will be returned to you the following week.  Any orders NOT placed through
Shop with Scrip must be delivered directly to my home at 2312 Highbury, Troy
MI 48085, or placed in the TABB box by the end of the school day.  Click here
    for the printable order form.

If you place an order through Shop with Scrip, you may get it and the check to
my home, or continue to place it in the Tabb box.  I’ll receive an online notice
regarding your order so that it is included.

Get all the retailers and rebate amounts at www.glscrip.com.  Remember that
half of the rebate goes to Tabb, and half goes into your student account.
It is preferred that you order your scrips online through Shop with Scrip.
Register at www.shopwithscrip.com. The organization is the Troy Athens Band
Boosters/Troy MI, and the enrollment code is DCD59F9E7L17.  A check needs to
be made out to TABB and given to me or placed in the TABB box by order
    placement date.

Participating in scrips is a great way to raise money for our band program, and
puts money directly back into your student account to help defray costs for band
camp, trips, etc.  Scrips work by offering gift cards to nonprofit organizations at
face value with a rebate to that organization.  TABB splits the rebate 50/50 with
your student account, so half of the discount value is returned to you with each
purchase.  For instance, a $25 card for Olive Garden or Red Lobster offers a 9%
rebate.  If you purchase two cards for a total of $50, $4.50 is returned to TABB
and half of that amount, $2.25 is placed in your student account.  Your cards are
still worth $50, but TABB and your student get some money back!

Great Lakes Scrip is a very organized program that offers hundreds of
participating stores, restaurants, gas stations, and entertainment retailers.
Check out their website at www.glscrip.com and click on the Retailer List to see
what gift cards are available for purchase, and the rebate amounts they offer.
Rebates range from 1.5% to 25% and will add up over time.  Gas cards are great
for adult and teen drivers; they can be used right at the pump for cash prices.
Gas cards are available in $25, $50, $100 and $250 denominations, and the
remaining card amounts are automatically updated each time you use them.
iTunes cards make great gifts, are easily used online and offer a 4% rebate.  If
you enjoy dining out, shopping, going to the movies, etc, there’s something
there for you, and the best part is that you raise money doing it!

Student Accounts

When students participate in selected fundraisers, money is earned to go in
their student account.  Detailed information can be found on the Student
    Accounts page.

Nino's (monthly)

Nino’s offers gift cards in any amount from $5.00 to $500.00. The cards are not
rechargeable; you can throw away the card when you have used all the money on
it and order a new one if needed.  Gift cards will be purchased once a month.
Click here for the Nino's fundraiser document.

Please print and fill out the Nino's Order Form,  Place the form and a check
made out to TABB for the total amount in an envelope marked "Nino's" and put
in the TABB mailbox.  Click here to request more information via email. You
can order every month or just a month when you shop at Nino’s like December
for the holidays. Nino’s gives us a 5% discount.

The split for student accounts is 50/50. So if you order a Nino¹s gift card for
$100.00, TABB receives $5.00,  $2.50 would be credited to your student¹s account
and $2.50 is credited to TABB.
