Marching Band uniform fittings will be held in the uniform room before rehearsals on:
• Wednesday, July 21 from 3:00-4:45 pm and
• Friday, July 30 from 1:00-2:45 pm (this will overlap with shoe fittings).
Mr. McCoy wants to take a full band photo in uniform on Monday, August 9 during rehearsal -- so please
make sure you have your uniform together by then.
Shoe Fitting Reminder
Shoe fittings will be Friday, July 30 from 2:00-2:45 pm, just before the mini-camp rehearsal begins at
Athens. A check payable to TABB must be turned in at the time of fitting. The black Drillmaster shoes are
$32. However, if you wish to purchase the Super Drillmaster shoes (they have a thicker, denser heel)
instead, the cost is $39. Please wear socks on that day!
Rookies
You will need to bring the completed Uniform Responsibility Agreement (attached, also available in the
band room) along with a check for $25 payable to TABB at the time of fitting. The $25 is a one-time non-
refundable uniform use fee. You will be fitted and receive the uniform at the time of the fitting. Also, if you
are in Concert, Symphony or Jazz Band you will be fitted for your tuxedo or dress at this time.
Gloves
Reminder - you will be issued a new pair of gloves prior to this season's first competition or game, and a
second pair for our state competition. Any additional gloves you may need during the season can be
purchased for $3.
Returning Members - Heads Up!
Please make sure that you try on your uniform (and shoes) now to make sure they still fit. If you need to be
refitted for a larger (or smaller) size, you must bring in your cleaned uniform to obtain a replacement. This
is also the time to make sure you are not missing any uniform parts. If you need to purchase new shoes -
see the note above about Shoe Fittings.
