Dear Marching Band Parents and Students,

        Our next MCBA Competition will be held at Clarkston HS. Driving directions are provided on the following page. We would
love to have a large group of parents, friends, extended family etc. to CHEER FOR OUR STUDENTS! All Students are to bring
their full uniform to rehearsal. Remember, we expect the utmost effort from our students in every aspect of preparation for
this performance, and that includes taking great care of the uniforms.

The schedule for the day is as follows:

    1:00 PM       Rehearsal Begins
    4:15 PM       Rehearsal ends - eat dinner (brown bag dinner) - drum major time
                         Listen Carefully for directions regarding the loading of equipment
                         Change into uniform. Eat “brown bag” dinner
    5:05 PM       Load buses
    5:20 PM       Depart for Clarkston HS via school buses.
    6:00 PM       Arrive at Clarkston HS.
                         Unload / Go to Homeroom/
                         prepare for performance
                         *** LISTEN CAREFULLY TO ALL DIRECTIONS
                         GIVEN BY DIRECTORS, STAFF & CHAPERONES.
    6:45 PM       Begin warm-up
    7:40 PM       Official Warm-up Time
    8:25 PM       Report to the gate for competition.
    8:30 PM      Red Hawk Marching Band Performs!
    8:45 PM       Performance is over, you may go to the concession stand and then sit as a group in the visitors stands.
                         Percussionists, Tubas etc. Put away equipment – load truck then join us in the stands please.
    9:45 PM       Awards ceremonies
    10:10 PM     Get your items from the homeroom, proceed to buses
    10:25 PM     Depart for Athens.
    11:05 PM     Arrive at Athens High School.

We do have a limited number of tickets; these will be available after practice on Wednesday. YOU CAN
ALWAYS BUY TICKETS AT THE GATE. Please help your son or daughter adhere to this schedule.
Please make sure your uniform is in good order (shoes shined, etc.)
